Fertile Foundations
Your New 12 Week Foundation-in-Motion
Pre-Conception Care Program
This new 12 week pre-conception care program takes couples and individuals from conception to pregnancy, to birth. The program involves a comprehensive approach to optimizing male and female fertility, preparing for conception to birth. A supporting role in this program allows us to address the whole person, aiming to enhance overall fertility health and increase the chances of conception and a healthy pregnancy.
What are strong foundations of conception?
Strong foundations of conception refer to the essential factors that support healthy fertility and increase the chances of conceiving. These foundations are often grouped into physical, emotional, and lifestyle aspects for both partners:
Physical Health
Nourishment - A balanced diet rich in vitamins (e.g., folate, zinc) supports egg and sperm quality.
Hormonal Balance - Regular cycles and healthy sperm production rely on balanced hormones.
Healthy Weight - Maintaining a BMI within a healthy range benefits fertility.
2. Emotional Wellness
Stress Management - Chronic stress can disrupt ovulation and sperm health.
Emotional Connection - A strong bond fosters mutual support during the journey.
3. Lifestyle Choices
Avoid Toxins - Limit exposure to alcohol, tobacco, and environmental toxins.
Exercise Moderately - Over-or under-exercise can harm reproductive health.
Adequate Sleep - Rest supports hormone regulation.
What are the strong building blocks of conception?
The building blocks of conception primarily revolve around the biological processes involved in reproduction, these include:
1. Sperm and Egg
Conception typically occurs when a sperm cell fertilizes an egg cell. Both sperm and egg contain genetic material necessary for creating a new life.
2. Ovulation
In females, ovulation is the release of a mature egg from the ovary, which can then be fertilized by sperm.
3. Fertilization
This is the union of a sperm with an egg cell, resulting in the formation of a Zygote, which is the first stage of embryonic development.
4. Implantation
After fertilization, the Zygote undergoes cell division and travels down the fallopian tube to the uterus, where it implants into the uterine lining and continues to develop.
5. Embryonic Development
Following implantation, the embryo undergoes further development, eventually forming organs, tissues, and structures necessary for a viable pregnancy.
These are the fundamental biological processes involved in conception, but various factors such as reproductive health, lifestyle, and environmental factors can also influence the likelihood of successful conception.
Where the 12 week program fits in with improving conception.
The pre-conceptual care phase of the 12 week reproductive program aims to correct male and female fertility health.
For the female:
Correct hormonal imbalances
Improve physical conditions within the body - PCOS/Endometriosis/Fibroids/Ovarian Cysts
Correct any cycle irregularities - ovulation/amenorrhea
Progesterone anomalies
Manage stress/anxiety
Liver detox
For the male, we aim to:
Correct hormone imbalances
Manage low sperm count, morphology, motility
Improve DNA fragmentation
Medical conditions that interfere with the male reproductive system, such as:
Acute Prostatitis
Prostate Cancer
Testicular Cancer
Mumps
Varicocele/Hydrocele
Epididymitis
Use structured protocols to encourage the body to do what it should be doing, to reduce stress (as it can interfere with ovulation and sperm production) and alongside the structured protocols, manipulate progesterone.
Should you need extra assistance with assisted conception, such as IVF, ICSI, IUI - Reproflexology (specialist form of fertility reflexology) can be used along side these procedures to maximize the chances of successful outcomes.
Using science based facts to measure effects and outcomes of reproflexology on both male and females:
Semen analysis for males
Temperature charting (BBT) on females
This will allow to adjust any repro protocols, make improvements where necessary, and allow extra time with doing homework, and extra time improving lifestyle and allowing add-ons where necessary at no extra cost.
This new program incorporates two powerful treatments combined to enhance natural and assisted conception.
Reproflexology & Auricular Acupuncture
Reproflexology uses specific and prescriptive treatment protocols to address fertility health for both men and women, it aims to:
Regulate menstrual cycles to ensure that each stage is functioning at its best
Improve sperm production, and functionality
Assist any underlying conditions in both males and females, such as:
Males Conditions
Varicocele
Mumps
Hydrocele
Epididymitis
Vasectomy Reversal
Testicular Cancer
Prostate Cancer
Acute/Chronic Prostatitis
DNA Fragmentation
Hormone Imbalances
Female Conditions
PCOS
Ovarian Cysts
Fibroids
Endometriosis
Progesterone Issues
Irregular Cycles
PMS
Salpingitis
Vaginismus
Cervicitis
Auricular Acupuncture (ear acupuncture)
It involves the insertion of fine gauge needles into five specific points in the ear.
Shen Men
Calms the mind
Combats Insomnia
Combats Anxiety
Increases lower abdomen circulation

Involuntary sweating
Dilating of blood vessels
Kidney
Tones the kidney
Strengthens the lower back
Nourishes sperm

Controls breathing/respiration
Reduces and regulates body temperature
Improves odema of the upper body
Skin disease
Enteritis (gut bacteria) - can be used by an autoimmune condition such as Crohn disease
Its aim is to detoxify, nourish yen organs - heart/liver/spleen/lung/kidney - who’s function is to produce, transform, regulate and store fundamental substances such as blood/gi/body fluids, nourish yang organs - such as large and small intestine/gall bladder/ urinary/bladder/stomach responsible for digestion/transmitting nutrients to the body.
This harmonious function and relationship between Yin and Yang organs ensures good gut health, balanced hormones, and reduced stress and anxiety levels.
